    Great juicer

    This product appears to be well made and I have no problem with 'manufacturer' reconditioned products. The instructions were clear and it worked as I would have expected. It was also easy to clean and store. Of course the feed shoot could have been larger which required that the fruit/veg pieces had to be cut up into fairly small pieces, but I believe that helped in the ability of the machine to quickly and completely masticate the fruit/vegs. Don't yet know about durability and doubt that I will use this rather than my pasta machine to make pasta, but so far so good..

    Good multi-purpose juicer

    This juicer is great with greens and vegetables. Not so great with soft fruits and the chute is a little small, so you have to cut things fairly small. Works great and makes easy work of making homemade fruit and nut bars. Easy cleanup. Compared it with a family members Jack Lalane and for my needs I'd go with this. The JL has a bigger chute, but the parts to clean are big and bulky. Got about the same amount of juice and the remaining pulp was about the same. The JL left a few big chunks. I think it may juice fruit a little better, but didn't do greens at all. Depending on what you want to juice - but I'd buy this one again. There are quite a few youtube videos on using this juicer.

    Best Juicer out there!

    The Omega 8004 Juicer is AWESOME! This is the third one I have purchased. The first one I have used everyday for over a year. The last two including this one were gifts for my two sons. This juicer gets the most utilization from fruits and vegetables and grasses. Highly recommended!

    What took me so long??

    I can't believe I waited this long to finally get a juicer. I bought a refurbished one which was clean and packaged as if it were new. It was a great value for the money. I absolutely love this juicer. It's relatively quiet and does a nice job of juicing vegetables that aren't getting consumed quickly enough. I enjoy a nice glass of celery juice in the mornings now.

    Why did I wait so long to buy one?!

    After using a centrifugal juicer for years I worried I wouldn’t have the patience to wait for a masticating one to work. It’s slower but not that slow and the difference in the taste and temperature of the juice is certainly worth a few extra seconds. I can’t believe I waited so long to take the plunge. This juicer is easier to clean and reassemble too. If I had to list a con it would be the weight and size. It’s big and heavy but I think that’s necessary for it to be able to work as well as it does
