Using this preamp to use a turntable with a Bose acoustic wave 2 radio and c/d player. It does work ok, but the sound does not equal the sound of the radio or when playing C/D's. I know it is at the low end price wise on phono preamps. If you really want great sound quality, be prepared to spend over $125 for a better preamp. Bottom line, it works OK.

Does the job. Great price.
Great little preamp. I have a vintage turntable and a modern receiver without a dedicated phono input. This does the job of bringing up the turntable output to line level for the receiver.

This preamp does work as advertised. Sound quality is less than great. Using it with a Bose Acoustimas radio C/D player. Sound is ok with my turntable, but not near as good as radio or C/D play through the unit. This is a preamp at the bottom of price range. As such, if you want quality sound, be prepared to spend $ 100 to get it.

Great Little Preamp
I needed a something like this to boost the magnetic signal from a 4 track tape cartridge machine to line level. The Pyle works great. Nice clear and crisp sound, and more than enough volume.
