Poor radio reception
The sound is just ok. There is no way to increase the treble. The bass booster isn't too pleasant sounding to me. The cassette player door is soft eject. That is nice to see. Fast forward and rewind stop when the end of the tape is reached. A very nice feature to have. The remote control is tampon sized. It is very nice to have and makes using the unit very nice. The CD player works fine. I didn't use it much so I don't have much to say about it. The radio is what I hated. It would not receive my favorite radio station. Two other radios placed in the same position this radio was in were able to receive the station just fine. This is why I decided to return this stereo. The auto preset feature would preset frequencies that were not stations but what appeared to be two stations ... The sound is just ok. There is no way to increase the treble. Sony CFD-S300 Boombox
Purchased my Sony Boombox on Ebay in used condition. It seems to be in great shape =) I have used the cassette and the CD players. Both work very well. I use batteries on the pontoon boat and they last about 8 hours . I have gotten it wet a few times and it is very durable. The sound is nice and clear. I like it.
