    Well made but not what I needed

    I bought this stapler to refix some carpet I had removed when I decorated our staircase. Unfortunately the staples provided are not long enough to get through the carpet pile and backing and it doesn't really have the force needed to fix carpet. I'm sure it would be fine for thinner materials, canvas, felt, cloth, etc. but it's not really suitable for carpets.
