About this product

Product Information

In the far future, Earth is a peaceful place with very few worries. To ensure it stays that, a top secret project was authorized, the creation of the guardian suit. Its a suit of flight armor that allows the guardian to survive any environment. Its a good thing too, because a giant space station is spotted on a collision course with Earth. You take the role of the guardian. Your mission, to activate the self destruct and destroy the station before it collides with earth. As you travel through the station NAJU, you'll find increased armor and better weapons to help you defeat waves of enemies. You'll battle through the station in a human form and also as a jet in certain areas.

    Hmm what to say about The guardian legend .

    It's definitely and in my opinion always will be a number 1 on my favorite list of NES game's . I have had the game for a couple of weeks . And it brings back a lot of good memories . I just completed the game today . I highly recommend the game .

    if you have never played this game, you haven't lived

    "If someone is reading this...I must have failed." In my opinion, this is by far one of the best of the games in the NES universe. From the gameplay to the music, The Guardian Legend has embedded itself deep within a special place in my memories. It has truly captured my imagination. When Guardian Legend was stolen from me a few years ago, I felt like a piece of my soul had been taken from me, but now I own it again and I can finally breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that I can again partake in one of the greatest Nintendo experiences of all time!

    Just a fun game to play. It is challenging and at times can be "Nintendo hard" but not so much that you feel the need to look for codes or anything.

    Obscure space odyssey

    This game came out of nowhere. I heard a little about it, but I really didn't know much about the game. When my friend showed up with it, I was surprised to see what a great game The Guardian Legend was. The graphics are nice, but the really nice worlds are the overhead flying levels. The are nicely detailed and the large bosses look great. The exploring levels tended to be a bit minimalist with detail. The music is really great. It has a great sci fi score that fits perfectly. The title theme is brillant and one of my favorite video game tunes. The gameplay is split up between overhead flying (ala 1942) and overhead exploring (ala Legend of Zelda). The real fun are the flying levels. The exploring levels are fun, but a little tedius. You really find yourself wanting to play ...
