Treasure Lying in the Ruins
I gave this camera to my brother years ago. After buying a couple of Kodak digitals at the dawn of the digital era as the pixel count kept rising, I spent lots of money on Nikons and then Olympus and Fuji mirrorless--(great cameras but as sensitive and complicated as a Ferrari. When my brother passed away recently, it fell to his twin to go through his possessions. He told me he had come across a small digital camera and asked me if I wanted it. I said, let me take a look. When I saw it, it took a while for me to recall it was the camera I had given him maybe two decades ago, but, after charging the batteries it seemed to work fine. Unfortunately, I lost it, but I had become so smitten with that little Kodak, that I bought the one you were selling and was pleased to find that it ... I gave this camera to my brother years ago. Awesome general use camera. I bought mine new when they were first introduced and have used it as my primary camera. It never fails me. PROS: -Great battery life. -Colorful crisp picture quality. -Always in focus. -Many creative scene modes. -In camera picture edits (Picture Perfect Technology). -Lens is high quality. -Shoots videos. -Large LCD screen for review and playback. -Includes USB(but optional Docking Station is very helpful). CONS: -The sound of the zoom function is heard in the video recordings. -Too easy to hit a button by accident while in Playback Mode(which will exit playback). *****Note: With high use as an ebay seller, my camera's Auto Mode changes to Sports with any small movement of the camera. So, I can't use Auto mode any longer. But I mostly use the Macro and ... Awesome general use camera. I bought mine new when they were first introduced and have used it as my primary camera. A FAVORITE CAMERA
I have owned and used the Kodak Z612 for a few years. i like the grip design and ease of use. Although it is only 6 something megapixel it does very good photos. The video is a bonus, but the microphone is way sensitive and picks up internal camera noise. Batteries are large enough to run for a good amount of use and a two gig card lasts a long time also. I caught the strap on a table and it shot away to the pavement. The lens gears got jammed or stripped, so I plan to repair one of these cameras for continued use.I have owned and used the Kodak Z612 for a few years. i like the grip design and ease of use. Best little camera you can buy
You just can not get a better camera. This little guy takes awesome pictures, is light weight & compact. Excellent value. Bought mine brand new many years ago & it has served me very well. I use it to take all the pictures of my products for my on-line stores. My kids dropped it one day & cracked the LCD screen I was so upset to loose my camera. Bought other cameras to replace it but none worked as good. I came across a used one on eBay & bought it. So very happy I did. Just a Great little camera.You just can not get a better camera. This little guy takes awesome pictures, is light weight & compact. Excellent value. Bought mine brand new many years ago & it has served me very well. Great little camera
Bought as a replacement for same model I have had for years. Takes great pictures while not a big bulky item to carry on trips. The zoom is amazing, only real weakness is night photography
