Product Information

This is Samyang's HD fisheye lens for Canon. It has some great features that are not available on Samyang's first highly rated 8mm f/3.5 fisheye lens. Optics and glass are high definition (HD) with very clear sharp images. This lens also features a removable hood which can make it easier for use on full frame cameras. While this lens is designed for APS-C sensors, full frame users can now use it without the hood. On APS-C cameras like the Canon 60D, 7D and T3i, the pictures will fill the entire frame or screen. On full frame cameras like the Canon 5D, the lens will produce pictures with a semi-circular image and close images will appear proportionately large for a dramatic effect. Features F3.5-22 10 Elements in 7 groups (1 aspherical lens) Minimum focusing distance of 1 ft.

I recomend it for users want to shoot video and wide photos

Surprised how great this lens is!
I was surprised, even tho the reviews say great things, usually you have to pay way more for this kind of quality.. I watched a factory tour of the facility where they make these lenses on YouTube, and I think it explained a lot. All in all, it's a good lens, you must know and love fisheye to use it well, you can not take shots of things far away, it's a close subject lens; but, the quality is very good up close. It says HD, and it's believable.. also, I noticed that this new ASP edition is the second generation of the same lens without HD.. my next buy will be the 14mm F/3.8 HD ASP by Rokinon (same factory as Samyang)I was surprised, even tho the reviews say great things, usually you have to pay way more for this kind of quality..
