The only thing JR about this camera is the one f-stop aperture loss from 2.8 to 3.5. Other than that it's much like it's more expensive big brother, Infinity. I use it as a simple film based snapshot camera for my digital camera backup. I'm never at a loss for battery power as the JR uses buy anywhere AAA cells. You need never run out of juice for this auto aperture, auto shutter speed and autofocus camera. Just press the button and take home the memory. And you can do it in the dark too! The infinity JR has an ISO sensitive flash to take care of the indoor birthday party as well as functioning as a "fill" flash in the bright sun where the shadows are too harsh. The instruction booklet is a gem if you are lucky enough have it included in your purchase. Otherwise just Google one up on the net. Olympus lenses are known for pointy sharp quality and this lens does not disappoint. You will find it has more constrast than many of the point and shoot cameras of the era. Which means you will have crisp blacks and whites and your color photos will POP. Mommies4, you had me with the price (an unusually low $3.99) but you've kept me with the quality. A terrific bargain from classy Sellers. What more could you ask? Cheers, m1keinminnesotaRead full review
I love it. The viewfinder has such a dreamy hue, it inspires me to take more photos. Everything is automatic so it is definitely an easy to use camera.
Overall, the camera is in great condition upon arrival. Works perfectly well so far, though I haven’t gotten the film from it developed yet.

The cameras shutter fire but the auto focus system does not work. I got half way through a roll of film and the film quit advancing. I replaced the batteries to ensure it wasnt a power issue.
