I know the number of people with home phones is very small, but some (like myself) have a home phone through VOIP modem. This is a great system with much improved clarity over a normal cell phone. This great Panasonic system has more features than I am likely to ever understand. It is important to note: The system says it runs on batteries. That is true, but they are kept recharged by wall power supplies/chargers. Excellent product.

    Was refurbished

    It was not brand new it had numbers in it from August. No batteries, no manual. But good old internet helped. I do love these phones very easy great features. Still finding new things on them. I would buy them again

    Very low volume on the speaker phone

    I would give this phone 5 stars except that the speaker phone volume is so abysmally low. I do not think there is a way to make it louder. I have the volume at max setting and it still barely audible. I miss it since I use the speaker system almost exclusively. Otherwise it is a pretty good phone. I think I am going to put this phone system away and go back to my old Panasonic system that is sufficiently loud.

    Terrific Buy for a 5 Phone Cordless

    Phone arrived in new condition in original box. It was easy to set up and what I have tried so far works well. I was slightly disappointed in the quality of the recorded voices on the answering system. Voices over the phone were much better. I have not yet set up the cell phone feature.

    My opinions of my new Panasonic phones

    The old Panasonic phone had a little different curve at the ear piece Still I love the feature that allows me to block phone numbers I don’t want! I would purchase this model again.

    ? YEARS AGO, I bought the earlier model of this SAME phone, and it gave me YEARS of VERY GOOD service!!! WHEN the original gave up the ghost, I found this "IMPROVED MODEL" They LOOK and describe VITUALY IDENTICAL!!! Days after receiving them I ended up in the hospital for the last 3 and half weeks. My wife AND daughter tell me there is a LOUD NOISE, it is a long scratchy sound followed by short quiet pause then the long scratchy sound again. Then it repeats!! I heard it for meself today, the sounds which they are complaining about. It reminds me of getting a radio to close to an electric fence. (BUZZ....BUZZ)
