Product Information

The Samsung Galaxy S4 model SCH-I545 is a developer's smartphone specifically built for the Verizon Wireless network and based on the SPH-L720 model. It is also not necessary to root the phone to gain access to all its internal functions. This enables enthusiastic owners to avoid the problems normally present with a root without having to give up all the software that can only be run by a user willing to root the phone. The I545 is thus very popular with the root and mod community since it is easy to work with and can serve as an entry point into the smartphone modding community. Additionally, Samsung continues to support the phone after it has been modified, unlike with normal Samsung phones. The Samsung Galaxy S4 uses a Quad-core 1.9 GHz Krait 300 processor and a Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 chipset, alongside an Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The Galaxy S4 comes with 16GB of internal ROM storage, which can be expanded by microSD cards up to 64GB in size. Only 1GB of the 16GB is dedicated to the operating system, leaving most of the 16GB available for software. The dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac antenna is capable of serving as a mobile hotspot in addition to providing internet access to the phone. This enables it to broadcast its wireless connection to other cell phones, smart phones, tablets, and similar devices. The antenna uses UMTS technology and is compatible with the GSM, CDMA, HSPA, EVDO, and LTE cellular networks. The Samsung Galaxy S4 comes equipped with a v4.0 Bluetooth wireless connection that has A2DP, EDR, LE and aptX capabilities. The Galaxy S4 is powered by a removable 2600 mAh battery, which offers about 12 hours of battery life under normal use. The battery can be charged via the phone's USB port or by an external charger.     Great phone

    Purchased to replace my S4 which I shattered the LCD screen on. This phone has lasted forever! Only downside is the battery is failing and I wish it had more internal storage. Other than that, so easy to use. Not a bad phone to have of you don't want to spend a ton on a new model.

    Samsung Galaxy S4 SCH-1545 Review

    My "new other" phone was probably defective and probably was not what i would call "new other." It had someone else's gmail account in it and required a factory reset to get it cleared out. I sent it back primary due to reception and transmission issues and have purchased an LG G4 (Verizon). I would have probably gotten another S4, but a friend that I was with yesterday has one and said the only thing he didn't like about his was short battery life which I had experienced. The eBay vendor I purchased it from was very helpful in the return. Nobody seems to have the quality of screen that Samsung does. I have owned at least 2 other Samsungs. It was sharp. The camera was very good, much better than the Motorola Droid Maxx that I replaced due to failing call quality. I would have replaced ...

    No longer network compatible

    Battery was not good upon arrival, had to purchase a charger and new battery. This phone is no longer compatible with the network, the only way you will be able to activate a S4 these days is if your SIM card is already active on your account. Verizon will no longer recognize any Galaxy S4's or prior in their system. Verizon has done away with the CDMA side of their network. Phone constantly freezes, GPS loses signal, apps randomly close. Will be a ok phone for just making phone calls or making a few texts. The phone did arrive in mint condition well taken care of was the only thing I was impressed with.

    Best older phone

    This is my second S4 because I like the phone so much. All the newer ones don't have removable batteries, so if your battery starts to fail, that's it for the phone. I couldn't decide whether to say "yes" or "no" on long battery life, because that obviously depends on several factors. Happily, you can easily buy a new battery for this phone! It has a really good camera, and every other function I want in a smartphone.

    Excellent product they are worth every dime you spend, excellent handling

    I love the Galaxy S4s they are one of the most durable phones I have ever met along with the OS being incredibly friendly.We are a computer and smartphone repair store we see 90 percent more repairs coming in for Apple i phones compared to Samsung's. The only thing i do not like is it can not be as personalized as i phones such as modifying the different colored screens and housings like you can do with an Apple.They are also easy to repair the LCD's are a little pricey but always fix the problem for the most part along with the charging ports being easy to fix because they have their own charging port board and are not soldered directly to the board.....................................................................................
