Arrived on time. Product was very inexpensive. Actually picks up AM and FM fine. Is a very inexpensively built item so understand that. I did some repair to correct an incorrect assembly as shown on the photo. Ordered a silver Pilite KK-9 got a black Kalade KK-9 radio. Same radio. It's a cheap little radio you don't need to worry about. Uses two AA batteries so it should run a while. Needs extra antenna help for shortwave.

Like others say, for the price this thing is great. I popped the batteries in, the antenna was not extended, and I found out the power was on............it was already on a local FM station: clear and loud. Now, short wave reception quality is very conditional to location, and susceptible to radio frequency interference, especially inside a home BUT that is the nature of short wave in general. I couldn't pick up much but that may change.

Seller was very responsive before and after purchase. The radio works. It's nothing fancy but given the price you pay, it's good enough. There were some defects when I received the radio but the seller took immediate actions to rectify it. Note that the full description was a little confusing because it mentioned that the radio is powered by batteries and a power adapter, but the radio itself doesn't come with the power adapter. I had to ask the buyer to clarify, which they did.
