The Panasonic KX-TG6645B is a single-line digital cordless answering system that includes a base unit with phone capabilities and five handsets. Operating at 1.9 GHz, this Panasonic cordless phone offers 60 channels of DECT-6.0 compliant performance without conflicting with more common 2.4 GHz wireless devices. The charged handsets provide battery backup to keep this Panasonic cordless phone connected during a power failure. Other features include an automatic power-saving eco mode when the handset is close to the base, range boost technology to extend range by up to 20 percent, and a three-band equalizer to maximize clarity or to compensate for hearing loss. The base and handsets on this Panasonic cordless phone have hands-free speakerphone operation and intercom connection to the other stations. Call sharing and conference calls between an outside line and up to four local stations are possible. The Panasonic KX-TG6645B stores 50 caller IDs and 50 phonebook entries with up to 16 characters for the name and 24 digits for the number. The cordless answering system has a total message capacity of approximately 18 minutes. The base unit is 5.4 inches high by 6.4 inches wide by 7.2 inches deep and weighs 13.1 oz. The handsets are each 6.8 inches high by 1.9 inches wide by 1.3 inches deep and weigh 5 oz.

    Outstanding phone system

    I am extremely pleased with this system. It is very easy to set up, and it is so convenient because only the base has to be connected to the phone line. It is also a nice feature that, when you program numbers into one handset, it is automatically put into the other handsets. The sound quality is exceptional. This is--by far--the best phone system that I have ever owned. I highly recommend it.

    FANTASTIC, easy to use phone system with talking caller ID!

    We LOVE this phone system. It's easy to set up and the talking caller ID is awesome! No more having to get to a phone to find out who's calling and the screens are larger than most phone and easy to read/see. The back-lit keypad means no more having to turn on a light to dial numbers or access the many features that are included in with each phone. We especially like the group ring settings which allows us to set different ring tones for family, friends and business associates. We HIGHLY recommend this phone system.

    In good condition and as expected

    The phones were in good shape and all of the pieces were there. I bought the set to add phones to my existing set. It didn't work at first because the set had been used and the phones were registered to the included base unit. Once I figured out how to un-register the phones I was then able to register them to my existing base unit. Other than that, everything went well and the phones worked as I hoped they would.

    Excellent phone.

    We had been looking for over a year to upgrade and replace the phones we had, These Panasonic phones seemed to have the options we wanted. Panasonic phone had very high ratings. We could not be more delighted. The phones are much better than we anticipated and have even more features than we believed. They we very easy to program and use. Excellent phone with great performance.

    Easy house full of great phones.

    Work great. Clear, great reception. Plug up and charge and ready to go. Lots of features. Internal intercom makes it too easy for my wife to find me in the house, cant say I didnt hear her anymore!
