This is a very good, crime-action series from the folks that brought us "JAG". I am just now watching these because I don't do commercial TV. It's great to see a whole episode, straight through, with no crummy commercials. Never watched this series before and figured I would see what I missed.

A true gem that you may have missed!
I must admit it took me many years to finally watch & appreciate the NCIS series & it was only after having surgery & being house bound that I did. I was delightfully pleased with what I saw & quite disappointed that I never gave the series a chance. NCIS is a series based on Navy Criminal Investigators that work all sorts of crimes involving Navy & Marine personnel. It is incredibly well written & features plenty of actgion & intrigue. The characters are well developed & play well off of each other. The first season deals with how the team came together & developed. The team leader is the hard nosed former Marine sniper Leroy Jethro Gibbs. Easy to see why he is 'hard nosed!' He is teamed with former Baltimore cop & womanizer Tony Dinozo, former secret service agent & feminist ... I must admit it took me many years to finally watch & appreciate the NCIS series & it was only after having surgery & being house bound that I did. I was delightfully pleased with what I saw & quite disappointed that I never gave the series a chance. NCIS is a series based on Navy Criminal Investigators that work all sorts of crimes involving Navy & Marine personnel. It is incredibly well written & features plenty of actgion & intrigue. Mark Harmon is Gibbs & is far removed from his previous roles. He does a wonderful job of brininging Gibbs to life. The only other actor of note is David McCallum of "Man From Uncle" fame. He plays the somewhat long winded Dr "Ducky" Mallard & is also wonderful! I highly advise you to check out this wonderful series if you are a nay sayer as I was. You will be quite pleased & surprised!

I actually never really watched NCIS much over the 20 years lol lol not realizing it involved military stories. I don't care for blood and gore or murder stories , but I like a good military story and I love Jag so now, I watch NCIS! But once I finally realized that, 20 years late, I have started watching some online. Thanks for making these available.It's fun to be able to find this entire season and have it to keep, at an affordable price! Blast from the Past!
This set is a TREAT for a real "NCIS" fan. At the beginning, they all were a bit less "politically and socially correct," which I love, and of course it has no commercials. Ducky's character was a bit annoying, as was Abby's, but those got toned down in later seasons. All in all, I think this is a great revisit to a great show.
