    "CAPTAIN JACK IS BACK!"

A funny, action-filled Pirate/Zombie Fest for what looks to be our Big Farewell to Capt.Jack Sparrow! Enjoy the ride, and be thankful that Disney/Johnny Dep gave us one more Voyage on the High Seas! It was an incredible Film Series!

    Great Special Effects

Great Special Effects -- but silly and weak story. It's not sure if it wants to be a comedy, adventure, suspense or horror show. Therefore, the movie toss in all those elements. One also have had to experience the other installments to understand this continuation. Otherwise, it would be hard to follow. I enjoy pirate movies, especially ships on monstrous seas, and those actions are well done. Captain Jack has gotten long-in-the-tooth. Hopefully, this is the ending of this saga. Still, an eyeful of color, scenes and brilliant effects saves this from total absurdity. A lengthy, entertaining watch.

  • Love my Pirates of the Caribbean series!

I love this series! Johnny Depo does a perfect job playing Captain Jack Sparrow. I love Orlando Bloom as Will Turner. Captain Barbosa is awesome. Keira Knightly rocks her role! It’s funny and entertaining!

  • 2nd best Pirates movie!

After At World's End, this is my favorite Pirates movie. It has a lot of action and keeps you on your the edge of your seat the entire time. Johnny Depp never fails to amuse as Captain Jack and it was great seeing a couple of the old characters again. The end hints at another Pirates movie which thrills me to death.

  • Should have just let the "Pirates" series be.

This film is an obvious and unsuccessful attempt to milk every drop out of the "Pirates Of The Caribbean" series. Don't get me wrong - I am a definite fan, but feel they should have called it quits after #3 because #4 wasn't very good either - but not nearly as bad as #5. And it doesn't even stick to past facts from the previous films. Example - we know from "Dead Man's Chest" that Jack secured his compass from Tia Dalma years before. In #5 young Jack gets the compass from an old dying fellow pirate. Which is it? And suddenly the Flying Dutchman is cursed again - even though the curse was lifted in "At World's End" #3. What? Maybe Disney doesn't think we actually pay attention. In addition - the story line leaves much to be desired and Depp's performance was downright pitiful - definitely ...
