LG are an excellent make, reliable, simple to use. This is the 2nd one we have purchased and are very pleased with both. They are also nice and slim, nice looking, great quality.
For the price I paid and the functions you get built in this is a great TV. I've bought it for my bedroom but I don't think I would buy it as a main TV though I may be a bit picky (my main TV is a 50" Panasonic Viera, which I love). The black levels aren't brilliant and the standard picture for football is pretty awful but they are my only negatives. The freeview HD is great, though there's only 4 channels at the moment, and the internet features are pretty cool though I don't really use those. If you want to use it wireless you'll need to buy a separate LG dongle. I've used my PS3 on it over HDMI and component and both picture qualities are brilliant. Again the blacks aren't great but there's so many options to adjust the colour scheme. There's plenty of built in features like sleep, time-on, time-off, you can play videos, music and photos from a USB stick.Read full review
I am so impressed with this TV that I have since purchased another one. As this TV has so much going for it and is fairly well loaded that I feel that I could not get better value for my money. the picture is excellent and has HD up scaling which means that almost everything you watch is in HD quality plus having Freeview HD is another plus point.I have had this TV for 2 months and the only thing I have not mastered yet is how to move the channels to where I want them but I am assured that it is possible.Overall for the money and this much loaded extras and picture quality this good I think you would be hard placed to find much better without having to pay a lot more. Well done LG.
