    Everything was good EXCEPT the Drums

    I didn't have problems with setting up the game or the instruments. However, the drums were missing the rods for the cymbals and one of the cymbals (orange or right one) was heavily damaged that the wire snapped after I plugged it in to see if it worked. It was pretty unfortunate, seeing as how it was pricey and an xmas gift.

    More of the same ol' awesome

    If you liked the original Rock Band, then you should be happy with Rock Band 2. It supports guitar, bass, vocals, and drums. The Special Edition comes with wireless guitar, microphone, and wireless drums. The equipment seems to be of higher quality than those that were available for the original Rock Band. The wireless drumset needs the AA batteries replaced a bit more frequent than I would like, but the fact that it is wireless allows for more freedom, so it's a worthwhile payoff. The organization of the tour feature is a bit confusing compared to the Guitar Heroes of old. Rock Band incorporates traveling to cities with different mini-concerts, hiring staff, and buying equipment.     Really Fun Game

    I wasn't sure what to expect with this game as I am the type of guy who usually sticks with a certain type of game, mainly sports titles i.e. Madden NFL, NCAA Football etc. however when I saw this item for a very low price, I decided to take a shot and I am very glad I did, I have had so much fun playing this game with my 7 year old son (me on guitar, he does the drums), then you add in the fact you can download new song tracks for a reasonable cost (160 microsoft points each) that only adds to the fun and extended playability of the game, I also very much enjoy the fact you can customize the look of your band members, various hairstyles, clothing options provide another fun aspect to the game and helps to further engage the user making the game experience more personalized. granted I ...

    Rock Band 2 (Special Edition) Xbox 360, 2008

    Got it a few weeks ago and like the fact it came with 2 guitars. It makes it so that one of us can play base while the other can play lead. the graphics are good and the set up makes it easy to follow along with the songs. We like the ability to download a variety of songs and add to the experience. This is good for anyone. It challenges the avid gamer but also allows for the inexperienced player to catch on fairly quickly. We would recommend this for anyone who enjoys music and wants to do more than just be a spectator. It's quite the experience! This expands on the original rock band and gives more choices in songs and in the gaming experiences. It would be great to gave 2 mikes or to have echo features.Great otherwise.We give it a Thumbs up!
