    More specific zero level operating info is needed

    The product arrived with one of the panel meters pushed in and its ties to the front panel broken. Furthermore the power supply was internally wired for 240 VAC operation rather than 120 AC. Rewiring for 120AC operation requires an Agilent or HP manual which was not provided. I realize that most dealers for used electronics do not have the ability for testing, but a simple removal of the power supplies' top panel provides visually that info. I realize that I was remiss in not requiring 120volt AC operation, but the normal 120 AC power input to operate such a power supply is not unusual, and so I did not question or specify it. My primary complaint is that the dealer could have been more forth coming with the power input requirements, or at least provide an appropriate manual for the ...

    Solid linear power supply.

    They don't make them like this any more. This is a linear, not switching, power supply with a massive transformer and huge capacitors. It does not produce switching noise that can interfere with sensitive electronics and the output has outstanding regulation and no noise.
