Easy to handle but poor colors
The device is really easy to handle, resolution is as specified (14MP), but the colors are awful, mostly too red. Possibility to adjust color channels are very limited. Device has also a self white balance mechanism that results in widely differing colors even when entering the same negative the second time (see attached picture: same negative, just reentered and rescanned, no further adjustment). Ok for digitisation of a few pictures for Facebook, but would not recommend for archiving large set of old pictures.The device is really easy to handle, resolution is as specified (14MP), but the colors are awful, mostly too red. Great little scanner,
Easy to use, great little scanner, holders were hard to open until I used a penknife to cut away those two little catch pieces of plastic, now they open fine.

I wnat to scan my negatives, not destroy them
the negative holder is very difficult to open and also slide the strip through the opening. If you are trying to scan the middle negative in a strip of 5 it sticks out of both ends of the carrier. When you put the holder in the scanner instead of passing through like it should it bends the last negative sticking out. That's as far as I got with this piece of sh*t. Worthless.
