    Satisfactory

    The FM sound quality was good, and the selectivity was fair. The AM reception, sound quality and selectivity was very poor. The packaging materials were in good condition and along with the product container box, it appeared as if the item had been shipped before. I only tried operating the radio using the 110VAC line cord. I did not try using batteries. The main reason I purchased this was to use it with AM only. The reception description was covered above. I have another AM radio which is very old, and I wanted to replace it because I listen to nearby AM Programs for news and information from AM programming. The handling and information exchange with eBay was excellent. I used eBay for many years to sell reconditioned radios. My ID is HAMEVAN

    Great long range FM reception. Poor AM performance.

    FM reception rivals my long range Sangean. Even without extending the antenna. We are in a fringe area. Sound quality is also very good. Different than the Sangean but just as good. Daytime AM reception is poor. Very poor. Radio filters out little if any AM noise. At night and on battery it's better but still bad. Nearest AM Clear Channel station with any power is about 60 miles away. Regional or shaped AM broadcast stations don't even come in over the static. For FM this radio is a winner. For AM it's a loser. Note: Hinges on battery compartment cover are fragile.

    Great portable radio in true sense.

    The sound is clear and has volume, no tinny sound at all. It is very easy to use and the front tuning windows are very easy to see and make setting on a station easy! Also can grab it on the run if one wants - it is light and handle is great. Love it.

    Nice Radio by an excellent brand AAA+

    This item was a gift for my wife's friend, who only had an AM radio and wanted an AM FM radio. She absolutely loves it. She lives in a very small apartment and wanted a small radio to listen to foot ball games with, she has no TV and does not want one, so we gave this to her and she was delighted with it.
