    Doesn't Get Hot Enough To Make A Pancake

    I bought this piece of junk a Walmart awhile back and it wouldn't get hot enough to make a pancake, so I exchanged it for another one, hoping the first one was a fluke, but the replacement was just as bad. Now I'm questioning all these positive reviews on eBay. Is it compact, easy to operate, easy to clean? Sure, but does it get up to temperature? No. The plates are not in direct contact with the heating elements, so they're never going to get hot enough. I've bought a Cuisinart blender couple of years ago, which I had to return because it wasn't even as good as my 1960 Oster blender but was quite expensive. I've learned that Cuisinart is relying on their quality from many years ago but is still charging for their name. Don't waste your money on a name.

    We love this Cuisinart Griddler! Cleanup is a breeze with the removable plates. We have 8 grandchildren living nearby and all of them like the quick sandwiches we can make with this little griddler. We would recommend it to anyone.
