Using the camera for just a few days, it seems very well built with a very nice, crisp screen. The colors on the 2.5inch screen are very clear and pure, much nicer than most cams that I've seen. Additionally, its built with a very nice feature that turns the camera into a little video player. The screen turns around 180 degrees and goes flat against the casing with convenient set of play/stop, etc, etc buttons right next to the screen. Overall the design and construction of the camera are very nice and very well thought out, but thats where my praise for this camera ends. The user interface was a bit confusing, not as intuitive as I would have liked to see. Additionally, the quality of the sensor is sub par, especially compared to my Canon S3-IS which has a lower video resolution compared to this cam, yet produces higher quality video. I had been using my Canon S3IS for taking videos for the longest time and looked forward to moving onto a dedicated video camera, this is not a good choice for that. About the quality, its not TERRIBLE. I have a very high standard for my professional photos and video for product advertisements, which is the only reason I have a complaint. For the general everyday user, the photo/video quality is probably good enough. Beyond the confusing UI (it takes a while to get use to, but once you got it figured out its easy) and the poor quality CCD sensor, this is an excellent device. Considering its host of features: (Works with SDHC!!), MP3 player, Video player, video recorder, sound recorder - it can even play media across an RCA cable. One last comment, the size is convenient. Its not so small that its "pocket size" but its not so large that its a hulk of a device. Imagine a slightly larger/thicker iphone and you got it the size. Put simply, it's an excellent value for the money if your not terribly concerned with video/picture quality (which is most folks), this is an awesome multimedia device that is well worth the money.Read full review
As a guy that usually upgrades digi cameras every 8 months or so and Video every 1 1/2 years I decided to just try something new. Get out of the mainstream a bit. So, I got this Hybrid and I must say that I am very pleased with performance. It's no way the perfect quality you get from the mainstream hybrids, but for the quick point and shoot it more than does the job. Pretty little rugged guy to. I keep in my pocket with no case or anything and still good. As in any device of this size with small buttons they at times get a little fumbly, but otherwise no problem!
This was a gift for my oldest daughter who has 4 children. I bought it so she can film precious moments of her family. I hope she enjoys it. I'm a traumatic brain injury survivor so I don't know if it's easy to use or not. I can tell you it came with alot of accessories. She's excited to know I purchased it for her. I can't tell you anymore than that about this item.
No longer supported, but for the money, not bad. I had one before and the screen suddenly turned green and was upside down. Could not get any resolution to the problem, since it was no longer being supported.I would not recommend this for a first time buyer since if anything goes wrong, you're up a creek.
I like the multifunction components of this device...and the ease of use. I would recommend other buy it and give it a try. I have purchase at least 4 from different ebayers and it performs up to par each time. If I have any problems or questions, all I have to do is contact customer support at Vupoint Solutions.com.
