    Great phone, somewhat bulky

    Great phone, excellent screen, lots of storage, awesome battery life. Larger than I'd like, but not much worse than my old S5 with its case. And I don't need a case with this phone's rugged construction.

    Product was mis-represented & not what I needed

    Well, I have T-Mobile service & this was advertised as a phone designed for T-Mobile networks/settings, etc. However it is not for T-Mobile, rather it was built for Sprint networks/other. Even though T-Mobile bought out Sprint that is irrelevant as they have different settings, tower equip, and connection parameters. I have had network connection issues from day one on this phone. Even after 3/hrs with T-Mobile rep & discussions with their tech specialists, I cannot get it to have solid, consistent connectivity to the T-Mobile network. There is a LTE/CDMA in the Mobile Network settings & when using that I get internet connection fine & can text fine, but cannot send or receive any calls. GSM setting is like using 2G & is useless. When using that setting, The T-Mobile name at top left is ...

    Great phone1

    Rugged, powerful, fast and very user friendly. The battery will last for 2 days or more with moderate use in the battery saver mode. It is a bit heavy but that's the trade off for being rugged and having great battery life.

    Best durable phone on the market

    The Galaxy Active series now comes to T-mobile and Sprint after being stuck with AT&T since the S4 Active. I cannot say how excited I was when I heard that news, always loved the Active line for both being an excellent flagship and not something that breaks from a simple drop on the floor. (Do get a screen protector, it is a plastic screen that scratches easily) Even with the S9 Active likely coming out soon, it'll likely be the same minor upgrade the S9 has compared to the S8. I'd still get this one as itll be cheaper and probably have the same durability. It is also a tad heavier than most phones, but makes up for it with the incredi battery life it has.
