I like the show, not the dvd quality. Buy it, but be warned.
The show is incredible. I love the humor, no matter how dark it is at times. It has just enough graphic content to keep your heart going, but enjoy the series as a plot with in depth characters as well. I don't know if I got a fluke, but the DVD picture quality is lacking. I played it in two different players, and it was very pixelated, almost as if you were watching a low quality youtube video. Overall a decent purchaseThe show is incredible. Bootleg Dexter set
I love the show Dexter, and I purchased this so that my girlfriend could also watch it. Unfortunately, the set I purchased was a bootleg version (I thoroughly researched indicators of bootleg versions after viewing poor picture quality at places). The package inserts were well reproduced. The individual from whom I purchased it continues to sell this product at a low price. If the price seems too good to be true, the DVDs are likely not 'real' copies. Purchase from a reputable source... it seems that many others have this problem buying these DVD sets from EBay. I still recommend Dexter just not from EBay.I love the show Dexter, and I purchased this so that my girlfriend could also watch it. Wonderful series. Sucks you in and won't let go!!
If you've never seen this, it's INTENSE!! The story line is he's a serial killer of serial killers while working for the Miami Dade Police Department as a Forensic Blood Specialist. His vigilante justice is fueled by his step-father's teachings for survival as a child and continues throughout his adult life. WARNING: Not for the timid. This portrays a violent and mentally deep drama that for the individual that is affected by scenes involving blood, language, and violence, I would not recommend it. However, for the person who enjoys a really good mystery and story line, this is highly recommended. Enjoy!!If you've never seen this, it's INTENSE!! Great series
I'm a dvd watcher.. I had never seen an episode of dexter. I really like this series. Bloody and not for children but it's a great series for adults. Glad I purchased seasons 1 -5 I'll be getting rhe rest also.

Dark, adult subject matter but very entertaining!!!
Each episode leaves you wanting to watch more! Not for kids and a little over the top on language but the characters hold true to form. Deb's mouth actually becomes comical; not just anyone can use the f-word as a noun, verb and adjective all in the same sentence :) We started by watching Season 6 first, got hooked and had to see the others. They have all been very good.
