Sirius Sportster 5
This is by far the best Sirius radio I have owned. from the rewind option to the many display colors, and jump feature, this radio is easy to use, once you get the hang of it. I'm a truck driver and the remote control is my favorite feature. Now that I know where the buttons are I can operate the radio without taking my eyes off the road. This is the best mid-range priced Sirius radio on the market bar none.This is by far the best Sirius radio I have owned. from the rewind option to the many display colors, and jump feature, this radio is easy to use, once you get the hang of it. Nice little radio and some info for Dar on the dock
I have several of these radios, I really like them. The color change feature is really nice to blend with your natural dash light colors. The ability to add the Best of XM package is cool too. You won't get the MLB games, but you'll get the MLB talk and more sports info with this pack. Along with several other channels. For Dar - I saw your comment about the Sirius Sportster 5 (SP5)... "I enjoy listening to satellite radio so I decided to purchase one for my car. And I love this radio. The only thing is that it doesn't fit the cradle very well and so the service comes and goes - according to how bumpy the road is. THAT'S aggravating!!!" .... I think the problem is you're using a Sportster 4 (SP4) dock and there's supposed to be a piece in between the radio and the dock. Also the SP5 ... I have several of these radios, I really like them. It's designed to be flat against the front of the dock where it joins the radio. The SP4 dock is flat at the bottom, then it is recessed in for the unique style of the SP4 radio. You can use the SP4 dock for the SP5 radio, but again it needs that piece in between to make it flat and work more correctly. I'm not sure if you knew that or not. I only recently learned this myself.

Worth the time
As far as biddings are concerned, this was one of the more difficult due to the fact that I've been loosing on this item on more then a few occasions. Now as far as this SP5TK1, so far it has delivered excellent performance and ease of installation. I have a Starmate for my car and I purchased this one for my wifes car and she loves it. For whatever reason, the sound quality with this model is slight different then my Starmate because I used the dock on my car to activate this new unit and I found that the sound was very good but different. No big deal as the unit is working perfectly and very nice to look at while on. Excellent product and reasonable price
It is getting hard to find the sirus brand not just XM. Sirus tried to sell us something we didnt want that didn't meet our needs. The Sportster 5 has a color screen and a longer rewind time. I did the research and The Sportster 5 has the most features that we wanted. If anyone needs a good Sirus that has all the bells and whistles then this is it.
