    Best Blu-Ray/DVD Player From Sony

    The Sony Blu-Ray/DVD Player Model BDP-S1100 is a great player that plays blu-rays and dvd discs. It also gets you streaming video apps (need a wired lan cable connector). You'll have to buy a replacement remote that goes with the Sony model. But, its worth it! You can also go on the internet a browse to your hearts content. The Sony Blu-Ray/DVD Model BDP-S1100, in conclusion, plays rich sharp picture on your discs, steams your favorite apps, plays music, and does more in a Blu-ray/dvd player! I recommend it!

    Excellent Quality for the Price

    I was looking for a relatively inexpensive Blu Ray player that would connect me with Amazon Prime for streaming (do check first, not all players will do this). I was able to score a fabulous Black Friday week deal with this one and am very pleased with the results. The picture quality is, in a word - excellent (on my Haier LED HDTV). I have loaded, just to see, several Blu Ray movies (such as Hunger Games, The Matrix, GI Joe Retaliation, Jack Reacher, Batman Begins) as well as some DVDs (Avatar, Downtown Abbey, Bourne Identity) and there is full richness and detail of all colors in all of them.     Older so cheaper, but offers the "Smart" capabilities I like.

    I have purchased 3 of these blue ray players. My first lasted for many years, and I liked it so well for many of its features that it broke my heart when it stopped responding to the remote control. Mostly I like the "Smart feature" taht it gives my TV. My Chrome Stick is OK, but it didn't grow on me after my Sony failed. I purchased a second on EBay, replaced first, now I am happy again. My third I purchased for my Motor Home when I upgraded my electronics package. Now I have the same great interface I had before. I love this BluRay player and since it is an older model, it is so inexpensive!

    Handy. Stylish. Easy to use.

    This is a used product so has visual flaws it mechanically works great. I appreciate the fact that front function buttons allow use if no batteries are on hand for the included remote. It is not the smallest rig on the shelf but not bulky either. It has several streaming options as well.

    Awesome product!

    This is my first blu-ray player purchase. I did not know these things were capable of so much. I absolutely love it. It's filled with great apps such as Amazon, Netflix, Hulu Plus, Pandora, and even MLB.TV! It truly does turn your TV into a Smart-TV and the quality is great! It's pretty small and slim line, so it doesn't take up a lot of space, and looks good sitting in your entertainment center. I love Sony for their electronics, and this is just another great product. Thanks!
