Product Information

Gamers may get down and Boogie in this singing and dancing party game as they attempt to complete combos and rack up high scores. Using the PlayStation 2 controller, players manipulate the arms, legs, upper torso, and mouth of the onscreen character. Special moves are achieved through specific movements, and gamers may also build up a "Boogie Meter" to execute high-scoring choreography.<br><br>If players are not in the mood for dancing, they can compete in lyrical contests instead. The initial release of Boogie comes packaged with a USB microphone. Gamers select a tune from over 40 licensed songs, and then sing-a-long while being graded on pitch and timing. For shy singers, the game includes an option that allows the song vocals to be played over the player's voice while still tracking how they sound. <br><br>Both singing and dancing gamers may record their most favorite performances and share them with friends and family. Online, players can customize the hair and clothing of their characters, and then challenge other players to a variety of activities.

    Mostly 'Dance' Not Much Vocal...

    Focus seems to keep kids busy who want to make avatars jump around. Does have some nice features such as video replay of your performances and basic control of echo and mix of your vocal with tracks. Song choice very limited- I couldn't find one I wanted to sing- most are unavailable unless you spend the time to unlock them. Not expensive so worth it just to get the decent EA usb microphone which can hopefully be used with other games.

    Boogie Bummer

    A bit disappointed in this product. Too complicated for 9-10 year old range with danced moves being awkward to learn and unable it seems to bypass dancing for karaoke on initial set-up. If my game wizard can't play it, this adult won't even attempt it. Tried to play it once and it's been shelved ever since. If you hope to sing more, I would suggest another PS2 karaoke-type game.

    Boogie ps2 game with mic

    The kids are having a blast with this game! Very interactive with dancing and singing! It has a decent selection of songs. You can customize your character and also the background scenes. Cool feature is you can record videos and alter them. Very hilarious!

    game is kind of cool still need a lot to learn

    the game is cool , but i actually just bought it for the mic because mine broke but when i got the new mic mine started working again lol... cool game kind of...
