I needed to replace my old pull-down kitchen faucet with a new one, but needed one with *brass* stems underneath so I could splice in a 1/4" copper tee fitting for my restaurant style foot pedals. All the new model faucets use either flex Pex-like stems or their own proprietary stems. This one was brand new (open box) and fit my needs perfectly. Note that if you buy the latest revision of this model faucet, it will *not* have copper stems.

This is a very solidly constructed faucet. Most of the big brands are going towards plastic outer parts painted to look like metal. This Kohler faucet is all metal externally and solid construction. The magnetic docking mechanism also works great. Bought a similar Moen model and the head was plastic.

Single hole is best and pull down is best, and solid brass or stainless body is best... This faucet makes the best list at the best price. Names do not matter any more, so forget that part. Most home center stores sell a lesser quality faucet, at any price. I have been a contractor over 40 yrs. All I do is service and repair, I remove the others because they decay.

Best features are the pullout sprayer and the easy on-off control valve with no "sweet spot" so it is easy to shut completely off with no dripping.

solid, nice finish. It's definitely more shiny than brushed
