Will not work without original DVT remote
This digital converter box is useless without the manufacturer remote that comes with original purchase. A universal remote is useless with this unit. I called 866-number on the box and was given the information on how to purchase remote. It will cost about twenty bucks. So I still don't know how this box works. I bought it for 15 bucks on Ebay. If the remote is twenty bucks and I only wanted the converter box to use on a 13 inch analogue TV in my kitchen- it's not worth the money. Since I can buy a brand new converter box (of another brand) with remote for the same price. I will chuck this up to "you get what you pay for" and send it to Good Will..maybe someone will have the remote for it. .This digital converter box is useless without the manufacturer remote that comes with original purchase.
