    1st time smart phone owner

    I have held off buying a pocket computer until a month ago (why yes, it is 2016). I made it all the way to 30 before I had to upgrade to a smart phone, and while I absolutely miss my slider phone in all of its buttoned glory, I have gotten substantial enjoyment out of my new (to me) iPhone 5s. 1. I'm a fan of Apple products and how intuitive their interface is. For someone who has willfully stayed out of the tech loop for this long (isn't the iPhone 7 debuting this month?), the learning curve on my iPhone 5s was surprisingly small. 2. The keyboard is pretty accurate and not overly sensitive. This is particularly key for me. I cannot overstate how much satisfaction I got from the tactile sensation of pressing the buttons on my old phone. I like buttons, and I was especially worried about ...

    The phones imessage has not turned on once since receiving the phone. I have contacted apple help services multiple times and not one person has been able to fix this problem. It greatly hinders what the phone is capable of doing.

    Fits your basic needs

    The iPhone 5s is great for your everyday essential needs. It's capable of doing everything you'd need to do on the daily; read and return emails, connect with friends and family through social networks, researching where to get an oil change and map the best route to grandmas for the weekend! It will save you if you forgot to send those documents and supporting photos to your boss cuz it can all be done with this phone. However, if you need to do a lot of reading or more research then just Googling the latest trending restaurant then this is not the best choice. The screen is too small to have to stare at for long periods of time. Also, I prefer a stylus that attaches to the phone for extended typing.

    iPhone 5s

    Great price and works great for a used phone. It does have one side effect. If the battery is at 30 percent or less I cannot make calls or recieve calls. The battery has to be fully charged to be able to make a call.

    Somewhat satisfied

    The phone seems to be working well but the a/c adapter broke when I inserted the USB cord into it and the USB cord is not an Apple lightening cord so it doesn't fit to charge the phone if I put the phone in a Lifeproof case so I had to purchase a lightening cord. I also had to purchase headphones and use a paper clip to get the SIM card holder open as the headphones and SIM tool were not included either.
