Her theme this year is to recreate a teenage girl's bedroom back in the day of Elvis....with different shades of blue. The problem is, Eloise is feeling blue herself. Her boyfriend Daniel is not in the Christmas spirit because it reminds him of when his father deserted his family many years ago. On top of that she has had an intruder spend the night in her display window, and her eccentric family is coming to share Christmas with her! Eloise is getting bluer by the minute! Once again, Mary Kay Andrews writes an enjoyable tale. I always enjoy holiday books--there are generally no surprises, just a pleasant read and this one is no exceptions. With Andrews, it's the fun characters you read for and she's added a few new ones to quirky Weezie and Bebe and sexy Daniel. If you've read her other books, you'll enjoy this one. If not, you'll enjoy meeting all the characters anyway!Once again, Mary Kay Andrews writes an enjoyable tale.
