takes the place of many mono units like audio compressor with gate, sound delay auto EQ that continually checks for feedback or lock the frequency's you have now peek detector and some more. it's just great try it. you just might buy an extra one for a singing friend as a great gift.

I am not using this Behringer for Live or PA recording, I have decided that the feedback elimination features would be useful in my home studio setting especially living in New York City where noise is subjected to happen anytime. Nevertheless i am an 7+ year Music artist/Master Engineer. I have brought this for my second studio set but after using it once i am in love with this can do. Behringer almost convinced me that their products are worthless as everyone says. But after buy this and the many features this small cube can produce im here to bring behringer out of retirement and this item should be released for studio home users Set up M Audio Fast Track II (Interface) M Audio Nova Black (Condenser Mic) Behringer Shark (Pre Amp/Compressor/Noise Gate) Acltron SoundProof (Isolation Foam ... It is fast quick and smooth. The pre amp feature is also great as you can convert from line to mic at will with phantom power. The compressor is not as great but seems to function with with the noise gate feature. Note nothing major with the compressor but is cool to have. Dont notice much difference on the EQ feature but its also good to have arsenal. In addition i dont find much need of the delay function because my DAW have enough to compensate. I have had Many trails and error with trying to improve the technology in my studio but with this one items change the game and I recommend it for anyone who has problems with Noise feedback and noise suppression.Hopefully this item will put it in to the bad name that the Behringer companies has
