This code reader is amazing (especially for the price). It came with Toyota installed but the other major manufacturers can be purchased for under $40 each. However I sent the scan tool back and have received a full refund, if you read the title and then look at the pics you'll notice they are two different scan tools. I received the one in the pic not the one in the title. The scan tool I received did appear to be new and unused buy I have a Xtool D9 and was looking for something a bit closer to that level at a better price.

    Absolute Beast of a Unit

    This unit is the absolute real deal. It will tell you absolutely every significant and insignificant detail about your vehicle, and also let you control it. Complete bi-directional to use, and very intuitive for a first timer. I highly recommend this unit above any Altel brand/Snapon etc etc. Buy this one, you won't be dissappointed.

    Caveat Emptor

    My only problem with this product is that it requires and anual subscription. The product delivered to me had been used and the subscription had expired. It cost me $100 to get a one year subscription so that I could even use the code reader and I have since found out that for $50 more I could have gotten a new one with lifetime subscription updates. The product works great! However, it was represented as new, with a damged box. This unit was used and the subscription expired. If I had it to do ver again I would have bought a new one!

    Good tool for basic diagnostic.

    It works fine, allows to check DTC and clears most of them. But you have to pay to have full diagnostics on each vehicle brand. So for basic diagnostic it is ok.
