Heavy duty aluminum bar stock with solid ash transom plate and reinforced carriage bolt center pins…more than adequate for any size trolling motor for light craft. Perfect for my 17’ canoe. Probably the best canoe motor mount out there, fishing guide and been using them for years with a 2.5hp suzuki. Need to switch out the bottom metal piece bracket for a wood bracket though otherwise the mount will slide.
