    Great Action Suspense Movie

    I originally seen this movie in the theaters and enjoyed it. The characters and story line are great and not really to hard to follow. Some slow parts, hence the four stars, but for the most part I really like the movie.

    AS I'D SEEN THIS MOVIE BEFORE BUYING IT I CAN'T SPEAK TO IT'S SURPRISING CONTENT AS MUCH AS TO IT'S EXCELLENT PRICEPOINT FOR ME ATTEMPTING TO CONVERT MY EXTENSIVE FORMER VHS LIBRARY TO DVD; BEING OLD SCHOOL I PREFER A COPY I CAN HOLD IN MY HANDS FOR MORE THAN A DIGITAL "CLOUD" APPROACH BESIDES, I ALREADY OWN THE BOOKCASES, lol & HAVE FEET OF SHELF SPACE TO FILL.

    Looper was 2 loops too long !

    I gave Looper an "average" rating because: the characters are basically irrelevant with the attempt to write a "clever" plot about various problems with time travel taking center stage. But this ended up meaning that there was material here for a short short story . That's all it would have taken to give the central ideaas, ideas which aren't all the profound anyway . Without interesting characters and with just marginally interesting situations , the movie became boring in a short period of time . I have been a sci fi fan for many many years - this movie didn't really add much to the existing group of time travel literature ... it might appeal to critics but I would only buy it on sale at a reduced price.

    JOSEPH GORDON LEVITT IS GREAT IN THIS MOVIE!

    If you like time travel movies this is a good one! Very cool sci-fi with a lot of action. JGL really fits his character to a T. I bought this because it's the kind of movie I like to watch over and over. A+++.
