    Good laptop

    This is a review of the product, not the auction... It has an excellent display and great laptop overall. It was ideal for my needs as a musician as it has both Thunderbolt for modern peripherals and FireWire for my legacy rack gear, plus it has separate audio I/O and USB2. The thunderbolt port also makes it compatible with USB3. I run the output through my PA so the built-in speakers are of limited value. Even so, the built-in subwoofers add to the sound quality when using the laptop as a laptop. The SSD has a longer life than on older HDD, which is a good thing. The battery on mineis aging, but even though it is an internal battery, all you have to do to replace it is to remove the bottom - a three minute job, total. My only complaint is that from a low angle, the backlighting is ...
