Laptop was in almost perfect shape, only a bit of inconsequential hinge damage. Close to perfect product, packaging, price & service!

2011 MacBook Pro fills the bill
The computer allowed me to restore from Time Machine backup with all my files and OS X Version10.9.5 operating system -- excellent! As a result, I have been able to continue to use a $500 obsolete app. And once my son showed me that some of the screws for the computer case were hidden under the texture decal, I was able to upgrade to 16 GB RAM. Turned out the processor was slightly newer than my original 2011 MBP, but that worked out well with better throughput and speed for several applications.The computer allowed me to restore from Time Machine backup with all my files and OS X Version10.9.5 operating system -- excellent! This put my old MacBook Pro back in the game! When my logic board died, I took my 2011 MacBook Pro to the Apple store and they said that due to it's age they would not be able to work on it. I hate the new USB-C MacBooks and I don't want to spend $2000 for a 4 year old Retina... I actually prefer my old computer! This part looked brand new. It was an easy swap out, and even was able to get a faster CPU than my original machine. Hopefully it will last a long time and keep my computer going until Apple makes hardware that is worth buying again.This put my old MacBook Pro back in the game! Honestly I’m very impressed with how little this MacBook shows it’s age. For any average user this machine is more than enough. JemJem who I purchased from exceeded my expectations. Refurbished Macs are definitely a hit an miss online but it was exactly as advertised. Very clean. Packaging was very secure and kept the computer safe. All around very pleased with purchase.
