The good the bad and the better
This camera was an excellent Ebay find.I like the size of it and the housing seems pretty durable. The good the ease of use. The camera is very easy to use. I purchased it for my mother who isn't the best with electronics. The buttons and display are self explanatory. The only bad thing I've noticed is that when the memory card is full, it doesn't give a notice. So you just keep taking pictures that don't get saved.The better, once again the price. Best camera I ever owned, I just purchased my second one.
I have owned several cameras over the years, Pentax, Cannons, and Fujis I just purchased my second one of this exact model. I used my first one a TON. The fist thing is, it needs good batteries. If you think you can pick up cheap batteries from a discount bulk pack and use them in this camera, your gonna need a LOT of em. With a quality pair of rechargable batteries this camera works great. As far as durability, I dropped mine on the garage floor a year and a half ago. It had it's issues because of that. But for the most part it worked great until it died today. My wife,(who was a professional photographer for several years)and I purchased a brand new camera this last December. Mostly because I was concerned the C613 was finally calling it quits after several years and the drop on ... So to make a long review longer, if your thinking about purchasing this camera..... yes you should. I hope this helps. Oh yeah, and two more things. You can log onto Kodak's website and download the current version of Easyshare software for free. It's the same software that came with the camera when it was new. And if you purcase the camera on Ebay without the USB connector, it is a funky little thing that you might need to get from Kodak or from Ebay. Because I don't think your gonna find the USB cable at an electronics store. If you have an SD card it doesn't matter because you can just save the pics to your card then load the card to your computer. Of course you need a card reader to do that. If you want to see what the camera can do with very fast production type pics, just look at my listings. Keep in mind, I don't waste to much time getting the perfect picture. I just lay stuff out, snap and go to the next item. My wife is the one that will take her time and get awesome shots of animals and clouds and stuff.
