I bought this because I'm a real fan of musical games (especially guitar hero) and because I love AC/DC. What I like most about this game is that, besides all the good content the game offers, it is a standalone version in which you don't need to have a rock band game in order to play it thoroughly. What I HATE about it, is that you simply CAN'T use your GH world tour/band hero drum kit on it in the Wii version, and only in that version, the Ps3 and Xbox360 game version work OK. And why is that? The GH drum kits are essencially the same hardwares no matter the platform. So I'd like to say SAME ON YOU, Harmonix, for committin this massive fail.I bought this because I'm a real fan of musical games (especially guitar hero) and because I love AC/DC. The track list is too short, but it's worth it.
This game is one of those wherein you get it because you like the music, but may or may not be disappointed with how the people behind it were too lazy to put in details that would have made it better. 18 songs is pretty cheap. That there's just a generic Rock Band instead of AC/DC avatars rocking out in the background was pretty lame considering the box promises you'll experience being in AC/DC and performing on stage alongside them. I like the live versions of the songs. Otherwise, this game really shines when you get your friends together the play it. This is really fun with more than one person, which if you own Rock Band, you already know. All in all, a definite purchase for fans of AC/DC and/or Rock Band and especially if you intend to get it as something to play when you have your ... Must for avid AC/DC fans-but sad 'cause only 18 songs
I decided to buy this game because I truly love AC/DC. I am sad that it only has 18 songs on it- but I have to say that the song selection is not that bad (but I wish "Rock -n- Roll Ain't Noise Pollution" was on it- but I could go on) The game is awesome, as with the Rock Band games- but it is not for the beginner. Even "Easy" is challenging. If you decide to sing, be prepared to drink some warm tea to soothe you sore throat. Highly recommended purchase.I decided to buy this game because I truly love AC/DC.
