Angling apprentices are encouraged to become a Fishing Master in this light-hearted fishing game from Hudson. Players use the Wii Remote to cast their line, and the Nunchuk accessory to reel in whatever takes the bait. There are more than 100 different species of fish to catch, from trout and bass to the mythical Sea Goblin, a leviathan capable of swallowing boats whole. Gamers must select from almost three-dozen types of bait to get the perfect lure for the more than 30 different salt and fresh-water fishing locales. Players can cast alone in more than 30 solo tournaments, or up to four can fish at the same time to determine the true Fishing Master.

    Hudson adds another Jig to its Cap.

    As far as fishing games go this is among the best I've played. Although it may look like a kids game it's really too hard for younger kids. Has a good learning curve and is a real challenge to bring in the bigger fish. It has some truly funny humor in it as well. Has some RPG elements but mostly it's a fishing SIM, and a great one at that. The water effects are top notch. The fish look very lifelike. This game is hard to find but well worth the effort.

    Fun game, not for young kids though

    Fun realistic game, too difficult for young children though. I bought it for my 5 year old an he has a hard time with it. Also got the poles for the WII with it and that thing is useless, actually makes it harder to use.

    Most entertaining fishing game ever!!!

    This game is very entertaining and fun you can play for hours and not even realize it. Great game. I think the most entertaining part of the game is how simple and interactive this game is and its a great game for the family.

    So Much Fun

    I love to fish and I love this game because that's exactly what you do with so much realistic action - setting the hook, tiring a fish out, casting, etc. It may not have great graphics or an amazing storyline, but if you like to fish you will like this game
