I've tried other language programs, you know, the cheap ones bacuase I didn't want to fork out the big bucks for Rosetta. After reading multiple reviews I finally broke down and WOW what a difference. It isn't like those 'conversational' language courses but helps you to actually learn the language so it sticks with you. You rememebr what you've learned and it's FUN!!! If your serious about learning another language, and I mean really learning another language, than you really need to give Rosetta Stone a try. If you don't like it, it's not like you'll lose anything. These have a very high resale value, just as long as you deactivate the program from your computer.

Rosetta Stone is a great tool. I haven't taken advantage of the online tools yet, but the program by itself is a great way to learn a language. I'm using this software to brush up on my French skills and starting back at the beginning I've already improved my pronunciation and learned a few vocab words I'd never learned the first time around.
I tried for 3 days to install it in my window 7 machine and it didn't work at all.
