    HP Pavilion TX1000 Motherboards are horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE!!!

    These motherboards have a NVIDIA chip from 2007 that has a heating failure problem. NVIDIA accepted these chips had a problem but never recalled their products leaving thousands of buyers hanging with their losses. When the chip reaches about 72 degrees Celsius, it detaches from the motherboard and loses contact with traces producing a dark screen when turned on. With the years, the motherboard gets so warped that even reballing the chip won't last for longer than a few months. Some people suggest soaking the chip underneath with clear flux until it spreads out from all sides after removing the red epoxy around it using a special solvent and heat. This method prevents oxidation when heating the chip to reattach it to the board. After doing this, one should reapply red epoxy in the corners ...

    На Ebay приобрёл две материнские платы у продавца (Nokation-parts).Первая материнка запустилась и работала 3 дня. Я заказал вторую для аналогичного ноутбука HP-pavilion tx-1000. Вторая включилась один раз и перестала работать. Связавшись с продавцом и описав ему проблему неисправности, получил ответ, и предложение приобрести товар напрямую по более выгодной цене. Купив таким образом 3 материнскую плату.К моему огромному сожалению оказалась вообще не рабочей. Зачем было писать в релизе -восстановлено производителем !!!! погрели в печке как в интернете написано и показано, упаковали красиво и продали.Возврат оформлять не стал и что они мне могут предложить, такую же не рабочую плату.Возвращать деньги некуда, банк лишили лицензии и карточку заблокировали. Делайте выводы господа ! В КОНЦЕ ...

    Good supplier, flakey board design

    This series of motherboards has a history of problems from HP. I took a chance and bought this one and so far no problems. It is working fine. I only hope it will continue for a while. An extra heatsinc was added for the video chip by the supplier. I think it will help. The HP dv2000, 4000, 6000, and 9000 with amd cpus also seem to have the problem. It is not the amd cpu that causes the problem, but it seems to be the motherboard being used.

    It is too unreliable for me to recommend it.

    This motherboard was a used product which I bought to replace the one in my tx1000 which had no video. It worked perfectly for a few weeks, then no video. I removed the battery, and left it unpowered for a few days. When I eventually put in the battery it worked perfectly for a week or two, then no video. During the time that it worked, it proved to be a very attractive unit but it is too unreliable for me to recommend it.
