I highly recommend Skar Audi Subs and components ! Great Sound is not in the name it's in the product. You don't have too spend top dollars , for a wicked loud set up in your car . The FSX65 speakers are well built with all the right features and benefits of a much more expensive mid driver. The Rms is 150 watts the sound quality is amazing and they really bring out the voice and mid Punch . Im running 4 of these on a kicker zr 450.2 and they sound awesome. Nice heavy well built mid with just the right depth. To fit my application. Iv heard mids costing twice what these do and are simply no better ...! If you really want to hear your music how it's supposed to be and have a tight budget get a pair of these ! Thx again!! Subpar Budget Speakers
I bought these to replace my factory Lexicon Door Subwoofers in my Genesis.The factory subs are over 10 years old and started rattling. So, after reading the reviews on these Skar subs, I decided to give them a try. As I opened the Skar Boxes, I was amazed to find that these new speakers had No Hardware....NONE, no mounting clips or screws, wire clips, not even a dust cover or vibration seal. I had to redrill holes in my doors and find my own screws to mount these as the holes did not match up. You can't use Genesis' mounting speaker hardware as they are mounted from the factory with rivets. You have to drill them out with a power drill. Besides that, the Sound Reviews on these Skars are overrated. Even though the factory Genesis subs are on the lower end of Lexicon, they still sounded ... Great speaker you need these speaker rings bellow to install them if you are doing your installation on a PT cruiser or chrysler 3 hole as the Aftermarket adaptors don't often fit: Ebay listing: 115006367603 This is what they some call an oversized 6.5 or a 6.75 After you install them properly, You will love the sound with an active system as a high power midrange to low power midbass above 100hz at 24/dB slope. Kick drums, tom toms, Kettle drums, basic percussion instruments amazing. Piano? Whoa baby! It does it with the clarity of my Maggies as far as not breaking up and distorting. these are heavy drivers and require that you mount them properly and in a solid fashion otherwise you're not going to get the most out of these drivers in the money that you paid for. ...
