    Clear solid explicit instruction

    As an educator I was thrilled with the clear instructions and brain research based mass practice opportunities. I have been using them in the car with my three year old grandchild and we both have been learning Italian quickly!

    This was an easy, fast, and affordable way for me to learn Italian.

    I purchased this program as a test for comparison to other methods of learning Italian. I am planning a trip to Italy in the Fall and wanted to see how much I could learn in a short period of time. I used the tapes as instructed and found them very useful, as a matter fact, I believe it was the best method I've tried so far. I am not fluent but I have some useful words and phrases that will certainly be of great assistance. I plan to purchase some of the advanced cds and work toward more fluency. It's very important that you speak the words aloud as instructed on the tape in order to learn the correct pronunciation and dialect. Sometimes they speak too fast and you miss some of the harder words, but I eventually figure it out. The voices are real clear and they repeat the words a lot ...

    BEST way to learn!

    I have tried other methods, but this language cd is the best method for obsorbng italian. Other tapes just keep repeating words over and over or get too detailed into the grammar. Pimsleur teaches you a few key words, then helps you build those words into sentences in no time. The combination of memorization and constant recall really boosts your confidence. After just a week of lessons I was able to easily order in italian at a local restaurant! I pop it in the cd player and listen and learn in the car. HIGHLY recommend these tapes!

    Basic Italian Audio CD's

    As of this review, I hadn't listened to the entire program, BUT, the first few I have listened to, have impressed me! I already have a basic understanding of the Italian Language, however these CD's are very helpful in pronunciation! I'm sure the program only gets better. I have a hearing disability, however these CD's are clear, and well enunciated for me to comprehend.

    Great way to learn a ne language.

    I studied Italian for two years in school, but was never advanced. These CDs are a great way to refresh the language or even I introduce it to those who never studied it. I don't know why they don't use audio lessons like this as homework for children in language classes. I would have learned so much faster.
