Just received the Bolster Dog Bed Cover - it fits perfectly and our dog just loves it. See the picture .     A great little pot!

    I've used stovetop Moka pots in the past, and they all work about the same, but I love the fact that the Alicia frees me from having to use the stove for my coffee! It's a sturdy little pot that brews a GREAT cup of coffee! The filter basket has an insert so you can brew 3 cups instead of 6 if you wish, which is great for me since I'm the only coffee drinker in my house! The pot is pretty easy to clean with just water, but make sure you let the prts dry completely before reassembly or you may get some corrosion start in the boiler!

    An excellent option to a favored old time design

    Since I was a kid. My mother would prepare moka on the stove using the same old moka coffee maker that are so popular. Years pass, I move to my own apartment and take with me some of the old moka stove only coffee makers and continue to enjoy a good cup once in a while. In one ocassion I was left with no Propane gas so I had to use electric appliances for cooking but alas, no moka for those sad days. That is when I began looking for an electric version and I found this one from DeLonghi. A good design, it keeps the classic design with some additions, now you put the moka in a plate with an on/off switch which starts the process. No difference in flavor or quality and a good addition for those who prefer electricity to heating on the stove. I should mention it is safer also since it only ...

    This is my third one in 15 years. I would say one every 7 & 1/2 years is excellent life expectancy. I love this product or I wouldn't continually keep buying it.

    Just brilliant

    I discovered this machine about 15 years ago. I think they may have been discontinued so I am buying another while I can. Just brilliant. Mine has traveled the world with me and is the first thing I pack. The best way to make coffee and does it with an electric power source. The standard Italian version of this type of machine is heated on an electric stove top or a gas burner - sources that aren't always available. I usually manage to find a power source somewhere. Even if I'm camping in a non-powered campsite the toilet/shower block will always have a power point. I have even been known to sneak it into McDonalds in a shopping bag. Sit down the back, plug it in, buy a muffin and wait for that familiar percolating sound. The "brew quickly" comment depends on the voltage of the country. ...
