I purchased this thinking it would work for my V8 Pet. When it came in I found that it was strictly for the V10. I contacted the DysonOutlet and they offered a refund. I turned them down because I really like it and found a way to make it work for in my camper which is what I bought it for. My only complaint is that they didn’t make one for the V8.
