    Works For Me

For loading pistol cartridges if you pick the right size you can tip most of it into your scale and use your finger to tap till the balance beam says that the weight is right on zero. I do not use volume. The larger measures can be used for rifle and just use your powder trickler to get the load zeroed. I do not trust using volume and use a balance beam scale to get the weight correct.

  • Great Set of MEasures

This set is supper handy to have and you can't beat the price. With these measures you can get the powder charge very close. I sometimes use a combination of scoops to get me close. Then I just drop it on the scale to touch it up. Really speeds up the process if you don't want to shell out the money for an automatic powder measure.

  • Lee Powder measure Dippers are a reloaders friend.

I got a set of Lee Powder Measure dippers when I started reloading 50 years ago before I could afford a scale. I've come a very long way with top of the line scales and measures since then. However, these little Lee Dippers are very useful, I find the dipper close to the maximum charge weight I'm loading to. Then I use it to fill the pan on my scale then use a powder trickler to bring the scale up to the set point. Makes weighing precise powder charges easy. I lost my old set during my last cross country move...the new set is just as good as the old one. If you load precision weighed powder charges these dippers are very helpful.

  • Old Fashioned, but still works

This product is rather old-fashioned, but still works. I used these when I was younger and when I started to reload myself, I knew I needed a set. With combinations of the provided scoops, I can hit a pretty good number of volumes. So, there isn't a powder I could use where I couldn't find a usable volume with the scoops. And, with the powder shortage, I had to work up loads using a dozen different powders (so just having one dedicated scoop would not have worked). I will probably end up making a couple scoops out of spent brass for some 0.05cc in between scoops, but that's not really a dig on the product itself.

  • Easy to use but not accurate enough without weighing each load .

The little dippers are ok, but if you want to be super accurate on your powder measuring you will need to use a scale to measure, not just the powder dippers. To achieve my desired powder weight in grains, I had to modify one of the dippers by cutting off some of the top to reduce the amount of powder it will hold. You still will not get exactly the same amount each time you measure, just close (usually within a half to three quarters of a grain if you follow instructions and don't try to pack in the powder. I try to get 17 grains of red dot powder (shotgun shell reloading) and the modified dipper still will get between 16.5 and 18 grains with each scoop.
