    Works As Described

    I recently purchased one of those smaller 500W plugin wall heaters. It received such rave reviews and was very inexpensive. Unfortunately, even after two hours on the highest setting, it could not warm my 100 sq. ft. room to a comfortable temperature. On the other hand, the Tornado AVH10 puts out sufficient heat to warm the same room from 47 F to 67 F in roughly 40 mins. Now, it does use more energy, 750W on low and 1500W on high (about the same as a hair dryer), but it's going to do the job within a reasonable amount of time. I would also like to point out that the cord allows for better placement options as opposed to a plugin wall heater.

    Does what it says it will do.

    As the description says it heats the entire room. That means there is no blast of hot air coming out to warm you instantly. The air is warm of course. A closed room would heat the best--I do not use it that way unfortunately. Over all I like it.

    Warms up the coolest rooms!

    This is our 3rd Vornado heater. We love the way they heat all of the air in a room, not just the air in front of you. Makes the whole room more comfortable. They are very safe to use, if bumped or knocked over, it shuts off completely. It also does not get hot to the touch so it is safe around children and pets. We have used them in rooms of our house that are perpetually cold, and it makes them comfortable to be in. With the high cost of heating oil, we will be using them in the rooms we use most this winter to keep them comfortable while turning back the heat in the rest of the house. We also use one in our RV for spring and fall camping, saves on propane. Would definitely recommend.

    #1 Space Heater for your Home

    Amazing, smooth, hardly know its on, yet it fills the room. Do not hesitate. Buy it. No other space heater don't even comes close...quiet...thermostat, one of the coolest devices I've purchased in years. Good warrantee. Never had to put it on high, except one cold morning for 10 min. Hard to understand how it is so efficient. Genius inventor. I'm in love with this thing. But most important I am warm and comfortable. Read the NYTimes review on the best space heaters. They said they had tested 100 different ones if I remember. And this was number one. Hands down. So I ordered it. And it is. Dig up that article and read what their team said.
