Perfect item if your Macbook doesn't have a hard plastic cover on it. Mine has a top, bottom and sides hard plastic cover (it adds a bit to the size of the Macbook) and it is a very tight fit in the pouch, difficult to zipper it shut. Without the protective cover it would fit and zipper perfectly. Material does not stretch. I still using it despite the tight fit, so it does its function as described. Thank you.
