Monster Madness!
If you love the original you may not enjoy this film. The views are different the angles used are modern. somehow the main character ends up everywhere the monsters do. But as a sci fi fan and a monster movie fan some of the digital effects are amazing and well choreographed. Godzilla is breath taking and his scenes are beautiful to the eye. When watching I kind of let the story pass my brain and focus on the big events and their well constructed atmosphere. I enjoy and hope you do as well.If you love the original you may not enjoy this film. Monster Mayhem with great special features
5 stars to Legendary and Gareth Edwards for finally bringing us a Godzilla movie that was not only successful but true to the character unlike the 1998 Godzilla which gained negative reviews for being a Godzilla movie. This is the first Godzilla movie in 60 years to be filmed with CGI and it is sure to impress - the dvd/bluray is good entertaining value with special features. The characters are engaging especially Bryan Cranston who did an outstanding job with his character though short lived. Awesome Sauce is right.5 stars to Legendary and Gareth Edwards for finally bringing us a Godzilla movie that was not only successful but true to the character unlike the 1998 Godzilla which gained negative reviews for being a Godzilla movie.
