The CoolBot works with your air conditioner to turn any well-insulated room into cool storage. The CoolBot Controller is easy to install on a digital air conditioner to reduce the room's temperature. The temperature can drop as low as 35 degrees in less than 6 hours. For a room to qualify as well-insulated, it must have at least R25 insulation in all four walls, the ceiling and the floor. This type of storage is recommended for farmers, florists, restaurants, and hunters.

    cool unit

    I have always wanted a walk in cooler but the cooling units were cost prohibitive. I built an insulated room and now my air conditioner can take it down to 35 degrees F in a couple of minutes! I butchered three cows and had them all hanging. It handled it no problem. I love it.

    Expensive, and worth every penny

    I read all the reviews on this and couldn't believe it could be THAT good. It was. Yes, my little 'wall shaker' is running full time, but I've taken a 10'x20' room from 60 degrees down to between 42-48 (depending on how hot the outside temps are).

    so far so good

    Only tested unit for a day, works excellent brings temperature down to what is says no problem, Will tested at hunting season for longer time. Gave it a 4 star because not tested the for long period of time with meat in cooler

    Definitely a cost saver

    For my walk in meat cooler this was by far the best buy. After pricing what I would need to put together the things I would need to make a traditional walk-in cooler this was buy best the best offer price wise. I went a little over on the insulation but had no problems keeping it at 33 degrees and the amount of money I saved on energy that this small device uses was definitely well worth it

    Works great for produce

    Good air tight structure and over kill on insulation, equals a cooler that maintains a temp of 38 in Florida with the outside temp in the high 70s. I haven't set it any lower to test it.
